Who likes Ethiopian coffee? We do. We love it, and this year we are going full-richter, offering washed, honey, and natural processed coffees from Ethiopia on our menu at the same time. Taste the rainbow! You’ll be glad you did.
This coffee comes from the family-owned Koke washing station in the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. The washing station stands on a hill surrounded by a neighborhood of roughly 2,000 smallholder farmers, each of whom bring their coffee cherries to the Koke station. Members of the Koke station then separate out only the highest quality cherries for honey processing. The rest will be natural processed. Honey processed coffees from Ethiopia are rare, and we were excited to be able to offer this gem to our customers.
