Traveling in the Guatemalan region of Huehuetenango, or Huehue for short, is not easy. The mountainous hillsides and deep valleys make travel slow and winding, but the coffees that grows on these hillsides are renowned for their brightness and depth of flavor.

This micro-lot from the Videz family near La Libertad, is grown with extreme attention to detail. The coffee is hand-picked, hand sorted, and dried in small lots on raised beds as well as on their patio. The lot is a mix of San Ramon and Caturra varieties and grown on their farm near 2,000 masl. The coffee is bright, fun and is a great example of the complexity present in truly exceptional Huehue coffees.
