This special coffee comes from the Guji region of Ethiopia. Located further south than Yirgacheffe or Sidamo, the highland terroir of Guji lends itself to a coffee with an incredible light citrus-like sweetness, a floral body and a clean finish.
Guji coffee cherries are particularly dense, grown under the shade of Acacia trees, and it’s a combination of the soil, climate, and age-old agricultural practices that produce this unique coffee. This is a coffee we hope to have back year after year, as it embodies what we love at Cat & Cloud: a sweet, complex coffee with a clean finish.
