This coffee comes to us from Best Friends Club member Angel Antonio Rivera, this is the first time we’ve had the opportunity to feature him as his own single-origin! Located in the Las Quebradas section of the beautiful Santa Barbara Mountain in North Western Honduras, Angel’s coffee is processed by another well-known Best Friends Club member Benjamin Paz. 


With our Best Friend’s Club, we are committed to ensuring all of a producer’s coffee finds a home each year. It also allows us to provide additional financial support by directly sending funds for every bag of best friends club coffee we sell. For Angel, the Best Friend’s Club funds have covered farming expenses like fertilizer and cleaning costs and even helped support his relocation after the hurricanes in Honduras. We are thrilled to have the chance to give him the spotlight this month, and share just how incredible his work is.

Brew Recipe

To get the best out of this coffee we always recommend this recipe as a stating point

  • Brew with a 1:16 ratio (one gram of coffee to every 16 grams of water).
  • Get your Water as HOT as you can.
  • Adjust your grind for a 3-4 minute brew time. (The finer the grind, the longer it will take to brew)
