Benjamin Paz is a name synonymous with specialty coffee in Honduras. Since he started working in his family's business in 2009, he has been instrumental in connecting coffee producers with roasters at all levels, no matter the amount of coffee they grow. In addition to the work he does in his community, he has a farm of his own where he grows Gesha, and the plants that produced this lot of coffee produced last year's Cup of Excellence, first-place winner.
The Benjamin Paz Gesha shines bright with the deep, sparkling sweetness of pomegranate. Cutting through the red fruit is the delicate sweetness and florality of oolong tea and cherry blossoms. - Brew with a 1:16 ratio (one gram of coffee to every 16 grams of water).
- Get your Water as HOT as you can.
- Adjust your grind for a 3-4 minute brew time. (The finer the grind, the longer it will take to brew)
