Damian’s coffee opens with big stone fruit up front, bursting with ripe nectarine carried by undertones of delicate hibiscus florals. As it sits on your palette, it develops into strawberry sweetness, with the mouthfeel and creaminess of whipped cream. This is our favorite rendition of Damian’s anaerobic processed coffee yet, and it's a great option for someone who loves bright and complex single origins. 

We’ve had the pleasure to work with Damian over the last 6 years, as the original member of our Best Friend’s Club Program. In that time we’ve developed a true partnership with him, and visits to his home and farms have become almost more familial than business. This year Damian has been working closely with ICafe Analysis Lab testing his soil composition for the perfect balance, and the hard work certainly comes through in the final product. This year's lot is easily the best coffee we have tasted from Damian yet, and we are excited to share it with you.

Brew Recipe

To get the best out of this coffee we always recommend this recipe as a stating point

  • Brew with a 1:16 ratio (one gram of coffee to every 16 grams of water).
  • Get your Water as HOT as you can.
  • Adjust your grind for a 3-4 minute brew time. (The finer the grind, the longer it will take to brew)
