We first started working with Rosalío Martinez four years ago when we met him through Luis Pedro. When we met him for the first time he had been in the process of refreshing a part of his farm and with the help of Luis supplying Java seeds and our commitment to purchasing all of what he produced, he set out to grow a new and unique varietal. Now, four years later, we’re excited to be able to share the first full harvest with you all!

Juicy tangerine, velvety nougat, and a finish reminiscent of peach cobbler make this an amazing coffee for someone looking for complexity and nuance in their cup. Offering the ultimate balance of creamy body and fruit sweetness. This coffee is a beautiful representation of the smooth and delicate stone fruit and heavy body of the Java profile evolving with the terroir of citrus and chocolate in coffee from Antigua.

To get the best out of this coffee we always recommend this recipe as a stating point

  • Brew with a 1:16 ratio (one gram of coffee to every 16 grams of water).
  • Get your Water as HOT as you can.
  • Adjust your grind for a 3-4 minute brew time. (The finer the grind, the longer it will take to brew)
