Indonesia Kintamani Natural— Blackberry, Root Beer, Milk Chocolate

This is a naturally processed coffee sourced from family-owned farms in the highlands of Kintamani on the island of Bali, Indonesia. The move toward natural processing in the region began as a response to a very real challenge: water scarcity. Producers found that drying whole, ripe cherries was a practical alternative to more water-intensive processing.

Experience: This coffee opens with notes of blackberry and root beer, followed by a smooth milk chocolate sweetness. The acidity is lively and rounded, and the body feels plush and balanced. This is a coffee for someone who wants to explore the fruit-forward side of specialty coffee without stepping too far outside the familiar.

Brew Recipe

To get the best out of this coffee we always recommend this recipe as a stating point

  • Brew with a 1:16 ratio (one gram of coffee to every 16 grams of water).
  • Get your Water as HOT as you can.
  • Adjust your grind for a 3-4 minute brew time. (The finer the grind, the longer it will take to brew)
