Bright, juicy, and dynamic, the Kiamugumo is a shining example of how complex coffee from Kenya can be. Rainier cherry hits you on the first sip, bringing the balance of sweet and punchy acidity found in stone fruit. As the coffee cools, it shifts to crystalized pineapple bringing tropical flavors wrapped in layered sweetness. The coffee has a heavy body and leaves agave on the palate as it finishes. This is a delicious coffee perfect for anyone that enjoys an adventurous single origin.

The Kiamugumo Coffee Factory is part of the New Ngariama Farmer’s Cooperative Society in Nyeri County, Kenya. Formed in 1997, Kiamugumo and the New Ngariama Farmer’s Cooperative Society has consistently been recognized for both the quality of coffee it produces, but also the high level of payout that producing members receive for their coffee.ith coffee growing so freely in this area, many households have at least a few coffee plants on their properties. The cooperative system offers members a consistent place to bring their cherries, whether they produce a lot or a little, as well as resources that support the production of high quality coffee.
